I've got a friend that moved here from the New York area last year and hes always telling me about this great band from back east he was friends with called "fourstar". I met them ahwile ago when they came to Seattle to visit him and do a show and they ended up asking me to design the cover for thier new CD. Don't know if any of you have heard of them or not , (thier not that well known I don't think) and I didn't ask about thier distribution. But they're actually pretty good if you happen to run across them in the future. ( they've got kind of an "interpolish sound", kinda slow and depressing, but tight if your into it.) Worth a gander I'd say. Later
i\'m one of those people who buy cds with artwork on the cover that catches my attention (yes, i do go by judging a book by the cover i\'m afraid, but strangely enough, i\'ve never been disappointed with the spontaneous grabbing of random cds that happen to have good artwork). anyway, what i\'m trying to say is this, if i saw this in a store, then i\'d be interested in the cd.
Nice. That means I actually did my job then.
I used to do that alot more, but I ended up getting some hella gay emo/screamo stuff like half the time. Wouldn't matter much but CD's are still kinda expensive.
Thanks alot my friend.

DeviantART has partnered with FAIR to help promote equality through The Love Unites Shepard Fairey Equality Project. We're asking deviants to align themselves with this cause and have their work judged by Shepard Fairey himself!
So after much thought I have decided I would host a contest! The theme is changing on the seasons, as we are here in the UK. This will be a long running contest so that you will have time to create something really spectacular
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
This news article features five deviants who took part in Comment Month through commenting on the deviations that were submitted.
Please give your time to this article and to write constructive comments so that you make a true difference to the artists featured here. Although not all may be underappreciated, their efforts deserve to be recognised and celebrated.
